Would you like to simplify your home based business? If the answer to that question is yes pay very close attention because I'm about to share with you some tips on how you can make working your home based business a whole lost simpler.

Most home business owners have a tendency to make things just way too complicated. Sometimes you just need to simplify your life and your business. When you do you'll feel more productive and a whole lot less stressed out.

For starters you'll want to plan out everything you need to do for your home based business this week. Write down everything. From talking to prospects to online marketing strategies to writing articles, whatever. Once you do that you'll want to write out the 7 days of the week on another piece of paper.

Now out of those 7 days I recommend giving yourself 2 days off. Two days where you do absolutely nothing for your business. It's hard to just keep going, going, going so giving yourself a couple days to recharge is a good thing. They can be spread out or consecutive the choice is up to you.

Next you'll want to spread out all the things you want to do for the week amongst the remaining 5 days. Do it evenly for each day and make sure you base it on time not amount.

So for example you might have 6 things on Tuesday but only 3 on Wednesday because the 3 on Wednesday are going to take longer than the 6 on Tues day. Make sense?

Now what you should be looking at is a schedule for an entire weeks worth of work. This will keep your business much more simple because all you'll have to do is look at the day of the week and once you've finished all your tasks for that day you're done! You'll notice that when you do this you'll get more done than you ever could before and you'll also feel much more accomplished each and every day.

Stick with the schedule, don't allow yourself to plunk some of Monday's work onto Tuesday or do Friday's work on Thursday. When you stick to the schedule you've made for your week you won't feel as stressed because you'll know what you're suppose to be doing each and every day and you'll create a rhythm. Pretty soon you won't even have to look at the schedule anymore. It'll just be second nature!

Learn to simplify your business and get more done all at the same time!

I'm going to be talking about the importance of setting a monthly budget for your home based business and how to go about doing so.

In all honesty when you're first starting out with internet marketing your budget doesn't really need to be that big at all. A lot of people will tell you that you need hundreds to effectively market online and that's just not the case because if you're doing it right almost all online marketing is free.

This is a great thing for the home business newbie because 99 times out of 100 most people don't have that much to spend anyway. So they need to use the money they do spend in an effective way.

So what you want to do first and foremost is figure out how much money you can afford to spend every single month. If you have extra one month that's awesome, but on a normal month to month basis how much can you afford to spend on marketing?

Don't worry about how big or small the number is… it can be $3000, $300 or even $30 and you can still run a successful online business. So don't stress out about it. Just pick the dollar amount that's right for you and stick with it.

Next you're going to want to list all the different ways that you want to market online. Remember, almost all online marketing is free so even if you have 40 different methods on your list probably less than 5 of them should require a financial investment.

Things like Squidoo, Twitter, Myspace, Facebook, Forums, Youtube, Article Marketing, and Blogs are all free. I don't have time in this article to explain how each of them work but there is lots of good information all over the internet to teach you how to use each and every one of these!

So since all of those are free what should you spend your money on? Things like PPC perhaps… although PPC (or pay per click) can be really dangerous for the internet marketing newbie because you can end up spending a TON of money and get very little in return. However if you do want to use PPC that's fine just make sure you have a budget for that.

Other things you can spend money on online are domain names, hosting, and website creation if you don't already have a website that you like.

Once you've made your list write a dollar amount next to each item. That dollar amount will represent your monthly budget for each one of these things. (Hint: "free" should be written next to many things)

Now that you've made your monthly budget the only thing you have left to do is stick with it! That can be easier said than done sometimes and you might be tempted to go over budget but try to avoid doing so because when you stay on budget you'll be less frustrated with your business.

It is when people go off budget, waste a lot of money and still aren't wealthy that they get frustrated and want to quit.

Follow these simple steps and create an awesome budget that will keep your home based business on track and profitable.

Who doesn't love sitting in a comfy chair and watching a little television? I know I do. The problem is however, that watching t.v. won't make you any money. So what's the television addicted home based business owner to do?

I suggest continuing to read this article because I'm about to lay out 4 things you can do to make money while you're watching t.v. (surround sound not included)

Way to make money number 1: Traffic Exchanges

The way a traffic exchange works is simple. You look at other peoples websites and they look at yours. Every time you look at another persons website that is in the traffic exchange you get a credit or partial credit and people will take a look at yours.

A great way to rack up a ton of traffic exchange credits is to simply get your laptop and start clicking through the traffic exchange sites one at a time. Since this is something you shouldn't really have to think about it's an easy thing to do while watching t.v.

Sure traffic exchanges aren't the most productive thing in the world but if you're just going to be watching t.v. anyway they're better than nothing.

Way to make money number 2: Submit Articles

Submitting articles can be a pretty boring and bland thing to do. However, the good thing about it is that you don't have to think about it too much. The real work is after all writing the articles and once that's done you don't have to think about it that much.

Obviously you'll have to think a little but for the most part article submission is just doing the same thing on different sites and a lot of copy and paste action.

Way to make money number 3: Request Friends/ Followers

This is one of my all time favorite things to do while watching t.v.

It's just so easy. Just find people on Myspace or Youtube or any other social networking site that you'd like to network with and request them as a friend. It's mostly just hitting a bunch of buttons and that can be pretty boring so that's why it's a great thing to do while you're watching t.v.

On Twitter all you have to do is start following a ton of people and most of them will follow you back. So start following people like crazy and pretty soon you'll have a ton of followers yourself.

We all know the that more friends/ followers you have the bigger your sphere of influence is and that's always a good thing!

Way to make money number 4: Find Inspiration

It might sound silly but sometimes internet marketers have to get off the internet!

Whether it's inspiration for an article or a marketing video or a blog post… whatever. Chances are if you're blocked just taking some time to un-wind and watch a little t.v. will help your creative juices start flowing again. Seriously… try it! Just don't get bogged down and become a couch potato!
